RCIA stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, a process for non-Catholics to become Catholic or for unbaptised Catholics to be initiated. It involves a period of instruction and spiritual formation within a parish community, culminating in the celebration of the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
